02 — Meet Wendi
Wendi Ndaki — Founder of WAI Network

Hi, I'm Wendi.

Writer • Animator • Creative-Tech Explorer • Founder

I'm a storyteller exploring the intersection of technology and African creativity.

I write, interview, create video and develop multimedia stories that help people understand not just what creative technology is doing in Africa, but why it matters.

My work cuts across video games, XR, animation and emerging technologies. It amplifies conversations with the people building Africa's creative technology industries.

Today, I run WAI Network, where I turn that experience into stories that help creative technology businesses, studios and organisations become more visible, understandable and memorable.

“I believe information becomes more powerful when people can connect with the story behind it.”

03 — WAI Network
WHY WAI?

WAI
Network

WAI stands for Wendi Art IT Network.

Wendi is a Kamba name that carries meanings associated with love and free will.

WAI brings together the three things at the heart of the company:

WWendi
AArt
ITTechnology

The name reflects what WAI Network represents: the meeting point between art, technology and human expression.

Our mission
“To bridge the information gap around Africa's creative technology industries through storytelling.”

We make the work of creative technology businesses, studios and innovators easier to discover, understand and connect with.

WAI Network is founded and led by Wendi Ndaki.
